On July 31, 2025, at approximately 1:42 p.m., an individual approached a Lee County Sheriff's Office deputy in the 4900 block of Majorica Palms in Fort Myers and reported that shots had been fired and that someone had been shot at 4991 Billy's Creek Drive.
 
Deputies responded to the scene and located Gregory McKenny deceased in the backyard near a trailer, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

?? FATAL HIT AND RUN INVESTIGATION
 
On February 24, 2019, a tragic hit-and-run crash claimed the life of Patrick Santiago, a 37-year-old man from North Fort Myers.
 
Patrick, of North Fort Myers, was walking along Beau Drive near Hancock Bridge Parkway in the early morning hours — around 1:40 AM — when an unknown vehicle struck him.
 
The driver fled the scene, leaving Patrick critically injured. He was transported to a local hospital, but died from his injuries the following day.
 
Despite ongoing investigation efforts, the suspect vehicle and driver have never been identified. This case remains unsolved.
 
There was a 2012-2016 Cadillac Escalade, white in color, that departed from the RaceTrac Gas Station around the time of the crash. At this time, the Cadillac driver is a potential withness; therefore, FHP troopers are searching to locate the Cadillac and interview the driver.

SEEKING INFORMATION - HELP US SOLVE THIS CASE! 
 
On April 21, 2013, Fort Myers Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at the Renaissance Preserve community late at night.
 
Paul Baldwin (20) and Jiatarios "JoJo" Brunson (17) were both found with gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital, but later died from their injuries.
 
Witnesses reported that a pickup truck pulled up and someone fired multiple shots from the vehicle.
